ÖZET
Bu
araştırmanın amacı, endüstri meslek liselerinde görev yapan
öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinin iletişim becerilerine
ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma tarama
modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma
grubunu, Kütahya il merkezindeki iki endüstri meslek
liselerinde görev yapan 200 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır.
Çalışma grubunun %51'inden kullanılabilir veriler elde
edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin, okul müdürlerinin iletişim
becerilerine ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesinde aritmetik
ortalamalardan yararlanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin;
hizmet süresi ve cinsiyet bağımsız değişkenlerine göre
farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin belirlemesini amacıyla
ikili küme karşılaştırmalarında “Mann Whitney U Testi”,
ikiden fazla küme karşılaştırılmasında ise “Kruskal Wallis
H” Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara
göre; okul müdürlerinin iletişim becerileri genel olarak
etkili bulunmuş, ancak bu becerilerin geliştirilmesi
gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmen görüşlerinin,
hizmet süresi ve cinsiyet bağımsız değişkenlerine göre bazı
boyutlarda farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.

Opinions
of Vocational High School Teachers Related to the
Communication Skills of Their School Principals
The purpose of this study is to figure out the vocational high
school teachers opinions related to the communication skills
of their school principals. The research design of the
present study was based on the survey method. The
participants of the study were 200 teachers, who were
working in two vocational high schools in Kütahya city
centre. Only 51 percent of the participants provided
accurate data that was used in the data analysis procedures.
The mean scores of the participants’ opinions related to
their principals communication skills were used in the data
analysis process of the study. The statistical tests such as
“Mann Whitney U Test” and “Kruskal Wallis H” were used in
order to scrutinize the opinions of the participants and
define the significance of the relationship with reference
to the independent variables such as gender and the years in
their profession experience. The findings based on the
participants’ opinions revealed that, the school principals
were generally effective on communication skills; however,
participants stated that, these skills need to be developed.
It is found out that participants’ opinions show significant
difference with reference to the independent variables, such
as gender and the years in their profession experience.
