The Journal of Academic Sight
is an “International Refereed Online Journal that is
published “quarterly”, “four times” in a year in the
area of “Social Sciences”
Information about manuscript acceptance and publishing
conditions:
·
Manuscripts should be sent to
makale@akademikbakis.org
·
As our journal is an international journal, there is no
language restriction.
·
The abstract and text part of the manuscripts (excluding
tables, figures, graphs etc.) should be written in
“Microsoft Word (.doc)” and the font should be “Times
New Roman, 12-point font.”
·
The abstract should be maximum 150 words and it should
be accompanied by the keyword.
·
English version of the title, abstract and the keywords
should be included in the manuscript. The author(s) may
include a long abstract. (Manuscripts written in
languages other than Turkish should have a short Turkish
abstract.)
·
Manuscripts (including abstract, tables, and references)
should be maximum “20 pages.”
·
The photo(s) of the author(s) should be sent with
manuscripts.
·
All references used in the text should be mention in the
“references” part of the manuscript in the end of the
text with the exact information.
·
Tables, figures, graphs, photos etc. could be placed in
the text or after the text at the end of the manuscript.
·
The manuscripts must not have been previously published
elsewhere.
·
Manuscript based on a doctoral or master dissertation
will be evaluated provided that it is stated as
footnote.
Evaluating Process of the Submitted Manuscripts
Outer
Evaluation
i.Submitted
manuscripts are firstly examined by the editorial board.
ii.Manuscripts
are evaluated according to acceptance and publishing
conditions
iii.According
to referees comments and decisions, it is decided if the
manuscript is accepted as it is or with revision.
Internal Evaluation
i.Manuscript
is sent to two referees from the relevant area (The
evaluation period is maximum 3 months. The manuscripts
of which the results have not been obtained in t3 month
period are sent to “different referees”).
ii.In
the case of obtaining “decision of acceptance” from two
of referees, the manuscript is published in the first
issue.
iii.In
the case of obtaining “decision of rejection” from two
of referees, the manuscript is not published and the
author(s) are informed.
iv.In
the case of obtaining “decision of revision”, author(s)
are informed about the necessary revisions and the
author(s) are asked to send the manuscript after making
the required corrections. “The revised version of
manuscripts” is sent to referees once more. In the case
of obtaining “decision of acceptance, the manuscript is
published in the first issue. In the case of not making
the necessary revisions, the manuscripts are rejected.

Quotation from the aricles published in The Journal of Academic
Sight can be made provided that the necessary
information is cited.
·
Scientific responsibility belong to author(s). The
Journal of the Academic Sight is not responsible from
the any scientific issue that might arise due to
published articles.
